HOW IT WORKS ~
There
are two options to choose from: |
Option
#1. We pay you cash $$$ on the spot.
The dollar amount typically $100 and can be more depending on make,
model and condition of the vehicle, and whether parts are salvageable;
or,
Option #2. We
give you a tax deductible receipt. We
have partnered with Sunday in the Country Food Drive to collect
your car or truck as a tax deductible donation. We welcome so-called "junk"
cars and trucks to be recycled. For many people, this makes more sense
than the cash-out payment option. Give us a call, and we'll discuss the
options with you to determine what is best for your situation.
Our services are easy and hassle-free. We are a local family.
Deal directly with the Simmons family of Millerton. We proudly serve the
entire Hudson Valley Region, the Berkshires, and western Connecticut.
We bring our tow truck to you, and we remove any unwanted vehicles from
your home or place of business as promptly as possible. Normally, pickups
are completed within 48 hours.
To
schedule a pickup,
call 860-671-1391 and ask for
Lou.
We
also buy your unwanted machinery, farm equipment
and large trucks because we have the towing capacity
to haul away even the largest items, including old farm tractors, dump trucks,
quarry parts and machinery, excavation equipment, old busses, etc. Call us!
All
vehicle recycling is handled by Lou Simmons,
whose nephew, Bill Simmons, was formerly the coordinator
of Sunday in the Country Food Drive here in Millerton,
New York. The group is now led by "NASCAR"
Dave MacMillan. Sunday in the Country has fed over 10,000
people by distributing Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys and food baskets
since 1995. They supply local food pantries throughout the year, and their
support network includes families, individuals, fire departments,
businesses and the listening audience of the Sunday in the Country
Radio Show which can be heard on Sunday mornings on WHDD
91.9 FM and 1020 AM, Sharon, Connecticut. Sunday in the Country
Food Drive has official 501c3 charitable status, so donations are
tax deductible. If you have questions or comments, please give Lou a call.
